It's Jeremy Scott's Moschino : Magic, Music and Masala

From the moment the show opened with German house music project Whirlpool Productions disco hit ... "From disco to disco, from town across town, everybody is trying to get down to the Love" .... and the first look waltzed in .. in a signature Moschino boucle suit, in McDonald red and yellow colours, with its iconic M arches bent to re invent Moschino's own M "heart logo" .... the crowds attention was locked on to the clever pop references ... and by the time supermodel Lindsey Wixson sashayed in with the second look, a pussybow blouse accessorised with huge fat yellow beads ..... the crowd roared in humorous appreciation of the unmistakable reference to Lagerfeld's fat pearls for Chanel Spring Summer 2014 and also the McD fries phone cover Lindsey showed off in a nod to the Mobile Generation !! .... The first segment wrapped up with a nod to Moschino's iconic cow print with "Cash Cow" emblazoned on a jacket accessorised with a McDonald Happy Meal bag and Cola Drink bag with straw !! 







The second act was introduced with Aerosmith and Run DMC's "Walk This Way" with blue quilted ensembles .... again very Chanel !! .... that gave way to a Black and Gold collection peppered with signature Moschino rope chains, padlock, peace signs and letterings .... with buckle dresses, skirts and tall boots also seen in Berlin designer Marina Hoermanseder's AW 2014 collection 





Buckle embellishments and layered belt styling are so in this season peeps, along with bandana caps and fingerless gloves, take note !! .... Simply loved that entire Black and Gold collection shown to Wamdue Project's track "King of my Castle" !! 





The fourth segment opened to the orgasmic track of Lil Louise's "French Kiss" as SpongeBob made an appearance grinning from a very Marc Jacobs Yayoi Kusama polka dot universe .... you surely remember that Louis Vuitton collection we wrote about before ( read it here ) 




The orgasms on the speaker built up to a collection of gowns and dresses made of Junk Food giant wrappers, crunchy chips, fruity loops cereal, tutti frutti chewies, gummy bears, popcorn bags, milk chocolates, cheesey bites !!






The finale gown was most appropriately made of nutritional fact labels on a bridal look by Lindsey Wixson to an operatic soundtrack of the American, Greek, Italian hybrid Diva - Maria Callas .... "Libiamo, Libiamo" translated "Let's drink from the joyful cup" !! ...... The song is a brindisi, a lively song that encourages vino and the life of pleasure ..... and Jeremy Scott walking out for the final bow to a thunderous ovation established that he certainly speaks Moschino in the same language as the brands founder Franco Moschino ..... Innovative, super imaginative, colourful, cheekily irreverent and a mascot of popular culture !!! .... Take a Bow Jeremy Scott, the Slayer of Boring Fashion :D
